Jaleco has long been a manufacturer of arcade games and video games in general. They have quite a few excellent titles under their belt, but unfortunately they have never produced a smash hit. Their console games tend to be a bit more successful than their arcade titles are, especially in Japan. Jaleco titles such as Bases Loaded, Astyanax, and City Connection were 'must have' items back in the Nintendo Entertainment System days, even if their arcade counterparts were not as successful.
They have published a wide variety of titles for almost every console system made from the mid 1980s to present. Including such standout titles as the NES version of Maniac Mansion and the Gameboy version of Q*Bert.
