Jazzman was released in 1974 on the album "
Wrap Around Joy" by
Carole King. She is well known for the 70s popular music that lives on today with hits such as "
I Feel The Earth Move" and "
(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman".
Many of today's generation know this song not from an oldies station, but as the song that Lisa Simpson sang with Bleeding Gums Murphy (voice done by James Earl Jones) (Season 1, Moaning Lisa (please note the humor in this episode in the cloud scene - all of the images were of characters played by James Earl Jones)). This rendition has been featured on the music of the Simpsons and the episodes is one that appears as "Best of the Simpsons" collections.
