If you look at the box for any H.P.Lovecraft movie you will probably find the name Jeffrey Combs in the top billing section. Born in Oxnard, California on September 9, 1954 Combs has played in a large number of horror and sci-fi films. Probably best known for his role as Herbert West in Re-Animator, Combs has even played the role of H.P. Lovecraft in the movie Necronomicon. Combs has also played small roles in more prominent movies such as I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, The Frighteners, and House on Haunted Hill. Much like Jack Nicholson, he seems to have a talent for playing characters that are slightly off their rocker, but he has shown ability to play other roles (such as Star Trek: Deep Space 9's Weyoun).
