K-Meleon is a stripped-down web browser for Windows based on the Gecko HTML rendering engine from the Mozilla browser. K-Meleon positions itself as a replacement for Microsoft Internet Explorer, and the interface shows it. Like Mozilla, it's standards-compliant. Unlike Mozilla, it's not bloated with a mailer, newsreader, and assorted groupware. Get it at http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/

The original version of this write-up was written and inserted with K-Meleon.

Xenex points out that the maintainer has not done a good job of maintaining K-Meleon in parallel with the Mozilla codebase.
