The obvious sequel to Lode Runner, designed by Presage, and released in 1998 by GT Interactive.

LR2 follows the spirit of the original Lode Runner with devilishly hard puzzles and great gameplay.

Where Lode Runner was a side-view, single-screen game, LR2 uses an isometric view and most levels requiring scrolling.

If I had a better joystick, I'd never get online.

"Lode Runner 2" is available on the Win9x and MacOS platforms. It has gotten mixed reviews from fans and magazines alike for it's use of isometric perspective. Although I find the perspective interesting, the control is definitly not to my taste (lacking the fluidity that nearly all of the 2D Lode Runner games shared).
