The mangagement paradox is present at all levels of middle management in all companies.

One of the most important jobs of a manager is to disseminate information to the team of people that work under them. However if the manager efficiently disseminates all the information he then becomes redundant (until more information becomes available). So the overridding urge for the manager is to hoard the information thus defeating the point of a manager.

If you work in a company this paradox is oh so real!
