It's March already!
Time flies when you're wasting time.
I got contacted by a recruiter a couple of days ago for a management position, and had my interview today.
Had to get up at 6am, so I could start and finish early and still get to the interview on the other side of town.
For the last... 15 years most my jobs involved staring at the screen all day and not much else, so my social skills aren't that of a butterfly and my management skills are minimal. I quite like my job, so I'm not fussed either way, but new job comes with new responsibilities and an extra $20-30k a year, not something to sneeze at.
I've just about hit my max salary doing what I do, so the only way up is up the ladder, I've been a supervisor before, but managing is a different kettle of fish.
I'm more nervous about getting the job than not getting it, so I guess I'm pretty damn lucky. I'm a quick learner so I think everything will be fine, there are a couple of aspects of the job that I'm not overly familiar with, but I brought that up straight away, so will see how I go.
Was going to cut the lawn, but the lawn mower was coughing, I have no idea what might be wrong with it, maybe the spark plug, I'll look that up later.
Not trying to solve the mysteries of the universe today, just my life.
it's the small things that make up life
