A main
character in the film
Leon:
The Professional directed by
Luc Besson.
Mathilda is played by
Natalie Portman, it is her first starring role in a movie.
Mathilda is an
abused child whose family is killed by corrupt
DEA Officers, she then meets
Leon a hitman and gets him to teach her how to use weapons so she can exact her
revenge.
Mathilda is a very serious and intense person, she seems too mature for her age and even lies about it in the movie, claiming that she is 18. Throughout the whole movie though there doesn't seem to be a time that she is joking around, except for a game she plays with
Leon (It's kind of like
Charades, but you try to guess what actor the person is trying to be), and when they have a water fight.
