Minority European Languages Information Network, a Web network for the support of
minority languages in Europe, for cultural, educational, and commercial purposes. The initial project provided on-line
dictionaries for
Welsh,
Irish,
Basque, and
Catalan, with the intention of adding grammars, specialist list of
terminology, and other such materials, and extending to other languages.
The consortium that provides it consists of the Institiúid Teangeolaíochta Éireann (Linguistics Institute of Ireland), the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, UZEI in the Basque Country, and the Research Centre Wales (part of the University of Wales).
