Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors stop your glands from producing Monoamine Oxidase. This is an enzyme that is needed to break down certain substances. The effects of using a MAOI can cause very mild drugs to become potentially deadly - including Caffeine. The main medical uses of MAOI's are as anti-depressants, and these will frequently come with a list of foods that should not be eaten. This will include any stimulants or depressants, so caffeine and painkillers are generally a no-no. Also dairy products and fish, and chicken are also not recommended. When combined with a psychedelic drug such as Psylocibin or DMT the effect are both multiplied and "changed" often feeling stronger but more easy going.
