The Australian National Institute of Dramatic Arts, or 'NIDA' (nigh-dah) for short.
Created in 1958 and located in Randwick, Sydney, it is considered the essential place to study for a career in television, film or theatre.

NIDA offers a degree in Bachelor of Dramatic Arts over eight areas: acting, design, technical production, production crafts, directing, production management, movement studies and voice studies. There are around 150 full-time positions for students offered each year, and admission is based solely on audtions and interviews.
