Piers is the best friend of
Harry's
cousin,
Dudley Dursley.
He is a "
scrawny boy with a face like a
rat. He was usually the one who held people's arms behind their
backs while
Dudley hit them" (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone).
Piers came with the
Dursleys and Harry to the
zoo where he was, in his view, almost
squeezed to death by a
snake Harry had set free by mistake.
