A supercar created by German Porsche tuning company RUF, the CTR "Yellow Bird" is one of their most famous models to date. Released in 1987, the 911 Carrera 3.2-based, 469bhp, daily-driveable beast was crowned as "The Fastest Production Car In The World" by Road & Track magazine with a top speed of 210.6mph. The next year, the Yellow Bird won against then supercar heavyweights the Ferrari F40 and the Porsche 959 with a top speed of 212.5mph. There is only one existing example of the 1987 Yellow Bird left and it is one of the most highly sought-after supercars in the world.
