SFOR is a military acronym for Stabilization FORce.
SFOR followed IFOR (Implementation FORce) in the
Balkan theater when the fighting in the former Yugoslavia became a peace-keeping mission.
Much of the American involvement is based out of
Eagle Base, located in Tusla, Bosnia.
