seishi

In the manga/anime Fushigi Yuugi, the seishi (or constellations) are individuals whom the Miko (priestess) must gather together in order to summon the god of her country, as related in the book Four Gods: Sky and Earth. Each seishi is marked with a character somewhere on their body.

The Suzaku seishi are Tamahome, Hotohori, Nuriko, Tasuki, Mitsukake, Chichiri and Chiriko

Other seishi: (28 in all) Nakago Soi Amiboshi Suboshi Miboshi Tomo Subaru Ashitare etc.
