A British department store which originally opened in London's Oxford Street in 1909. A second branch was opened in Manchester in 1998, and there are plans to open another in Birmingham fairly soon.

When the store opened, Gordon Selfridge said "Selfridges is for everyone". Unlike Harrods, Selfridges has a more welcoming and attitude and less snobbery, and is arguably one of the most modern of London's department stores.

They sell the usual cosmetics, perfume, jewellery, designer clothes, lingerie, etc, and they also have a rather funky food hall.
