use a Collins glass.

1.5 oz. gin (Bombay Sapphire!)

2.5 oz. sweetened lemon juice

.5 oz. grenadine

fill with soda and top with cherry-flavored brandy.

Ingredients:

  • 3 measures gin
  • 1 measure cherry brandy
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • juice of 1/2 orange
  • 3 drops Angostura bitters
  • soda water
  • 6 - 8 ice cubes

Preparation:

Put 4 - 6 ice cubes into a shaker, pour the fruit juices, cherry brandy, gin and bitters into the shaker, then shake until the shaker is frosty. Put 2 - 3 ice cubes into a hurricane glass, and pour the cocktail into the glass without straining, and top up with soda water. Decorate with a lemon slice.
