That sweet red syrup that
bad bartenders pour too much of into your drinks. The best Grenadine Syrup is made by
Roses. People who don't like
alcohol, but like to get
drunk, like a lot of this stuff in their
drinks because extremely
sweet or
sour flavors cover up the
alcohol taste.
People like me prefer to stay away from this sweet stuff and get on to drinking
Knob Creek straight-up. However when Grenadine is called for please use it sparingly, as a
touch can enchance the
flavor of many good drinks.
Grendaine is (supposedly) made from
pomegranate however, if one has ever tasted pomegrantate concentrate, you could surmise that the primary ingredient in grenadine is sugar (or high fructose corn syrup).
