My
grandmother made this a lot when I was a kid. This makes an excellent vegetable
side dish.
Sour cream and cucumbers
Ingredients:
1 medium-sized,
fresh cucumber
2
tablespoons of sour cream (add more if desired)
1/2
teaspoon of
salt
1/2 teaspoon of
pepper
Directions:
Peel the cucumber and
slice it into 1/4" slices. Place the slices into a
bowl. Add sour cream, salt, pepper, and mix. Can be served immediately, or be refrigerated for serving at a later time. If refridgerating, do not store for longer than a day. It's ideal to keep the cucumbers
crisp and fresh.
