bottom-feeding aquarium fish are often affectionately called "sucker fish". They're the really fun kind of fish that will sit, suction-cupped to the glass for hours, then suddenly dart away to hang somewhere else. They are good for regulating algae growths and cleaning up extra food that falls to the bottom of the tank. Commonly-nicknamed "sucker fish" are chinese algae eaters and the pleco family.
