Suburb of Dublin, Ireland.

The history of the area can be dated back to the 8th Century AD when St Mael Ruain founded a monastery there. The area became a centre of learning for the time and scholors flocked to Tallaght. The monastery was burned down by the Vikings in 811AD.

A new town, Tallaght has changed almost beyond recognition over the last few decades. Growing from a quiet rural village in the 1960's to become the 4th largest population centre in the country.
