1999 submission to the
Sundance Film Festival by Andrew Shea.
The Corndog Man more or less consists of a long string of harassing telephone conversations between the only two characters of note in the movie: Ace Barker (played by Noble Willingham) a used boat salesman who is the subject of the endless assault and the mysterious Corndog Man whose face remains obscured throughout the film.
Essentially the film revolves around a revenge motive - CDog Man is the illegitimate son of Barker by way of a rape the occurred during Barker's military days who was then raised by the mother's husband and Barker's childhood friend.
The premise is slightly faulty and lacks logic at times and the ending is simply weak, but the acting by Willingham is flawless and the reason why the film is worth watching and why I would recommend it.
