Alla was there. It was as remembered. Mostly. It may have been unrecognizable had she not been so familiar with it.

She loved the old building. It was not for her to have. It was never for sale. Many memories walking through its rooms, picking out food or clothing she couldn't otherwise afford.

She wasn't in that place anymore. Her chair saw to it. One of her mates now sat at the helm. Watching over her.

She wasn't on any mission. Not needing the chair. Just there to relive some old memories.

A different partner this time. She was still friends with Val. That's a different story.

Tears came to her eyes being there again. But also a sense of excitement. Like having rekindled an old love affair.
