Often called just 'Tostrup'. This is the de facto hangout place for media people in Oslo, Norway. The bar opened in 1988, after the closing of 'Ryktebørsen' ('The Rumour Exchange) and has the only urinal in Norway blessed by an archbishop. It was blessed as a part of the opening stunt. The opening was also widly covered in the media, since media people like to write about their own gang. Sadly for some, the bar allows only people from the media, so you have to have a media company ID card or a press card. Tostrup is located near all the three largest newspapers and one of the biggest national radio stations. Since it's very close to the parlament too, politicians often visit. There's an unspoken rule about this situation, 'Tostrup is neutral ground'. This means the politicians can fraternize with the journalists without risking bad media coverage. It's also one of the few places you can see a married person from the conservative christians party make out with a TV celebrity...

Tosttrup is located in the basement of Tostrupgården, opposite to the parlament on the Karl Johan side.
