Interstate highways in the Twin Cities. The Twin Cities interstate system is notable for two things--first, the ring road that surrounds the city has two numbers, I-494 and I-694. Second, it is the one of the two cities left where an Interstate splits into two: I-35 becomes I-35W and I-35E. The other city that has this is Dallas-Fort Worth, and the Interstate in question is still I-35.
