The
Waterloo and
City Line is the shortest line on the
London Underground, having only the two stations
Waterloo and
Bank. Until
1985 the line was operated by
British Rail, but is now part of the main
tube network. On a standard
tube map, the Waterloo and
City Line appears as a pale turquoise colour.
