Brilliant fantasy novel written by Clive Barker. The story centers around two Cuckoo's (humans) Suzanna and Calhoun who get involved with the Seerkind (faeries) and their imminent destruction. As in Imajica (fantasy) Barker comes up with his own original brand of semi-horror mixed with the mystic. The beautiful weave on which the title plays is a spectacular world of the fantastic filled with immense beauty and playing with our sense of time and reality. As always in Barker's books the evil are really evil and the good are somehow tainted, making for an enthralling piece of literature.

Personally I enjoyed Imajica a bit more, but this is nonetheless a more than worthwhile book to read.
