Sometimes in order to advance
foward you need to take a
step back. Often people rush into
relationships,
work, and
life too quickly to understand the
full picture. Digressive progression is the art of
going back to your roots, and meditating on where you are going.
Programmers know the art of digressive progression all too well. You think of a great idea, start
coding it and suddenly find yourself lost in an ugly mess because you didn't
think first. It is then that you
pray to god that you backed up the
last version.
Some
Puritans believe that the
human race has progressed too far and only by digressing to our original
roots can we achieve anything greater.
