I looked down the neverending tunnel.
You promised there'd be a light at the end,
and I said that I didn't have the heart to go down
So there we walked, hand in hand,
making the trek down to our reward
while the outside world laughed at our blind hope

We proved them wrong and reaped what we sowed,
planting seeds for the lurkers in our footsteps

We will say to our children,
today's farm was built on yesterday's risk,
and they will live the dream we'd planned
