A farecard is a monthly pass for use within Vancouver's public transit system. There are three varieties: one zone, two zone, and all zones.

CONDITIONS OF USE
Use of this pass is subject to the terms and conditions of the transit tariff of the Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority (Translink). Contravention may result in confiscation of the pass and/or prosecution. VOID IF LAMINATED OR ALTERED. VALID for unlimited travel on Translink transportation service region buses, SeaBus and SkyTrain during the month shown, within ONE SPECIFIC ZONE during PEAK periods, and across ALL ZONES during OFF-PEAK periods. To travel multiple zones during PEAK periods or within a zone other than the one specified, purchase AddFare at time of travel:
one additional zone 75 cents, two additional zones $1.75.
ZONE SELECTION SCRATCH OFF ONE PANEL on face of card to indicate which zone of travel to be used. 1 Vancouver 2 North & West Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, Richmond 3 Surrey, Delta, White Rock, Coquitlam, Pt. Coquitlam, Pt. Moody, Lions Bay, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Langley. This pass must be clearly displayed to the driver when boarding a bus and must remain in possession of the user at all times while on board transit vehicles or within a Fare Paid Zone, and must be produced for inspection on request of the driver or other official of Translink or its designated subsidiaries or operating companies.
