Clint Eastwood as aging, traumatised Secret Service agent Frank Horrigan has had to watch John F. Kennedy's head blown apart in 1963. Thirty years later, an ex-CIA madman (superbly evil: John Malkovich) with a seemingly bullet-proof plan threatens to make Horrigan the first USSS agent to ever lose two presidents.
