indiepop-list@eskimo.com is a worldwide mailing list for enthusiasts of indiepop music. subscription is open. indiepop-list was originally started because the famous shalala list was overcrowded. there are now thousands of subscribers, probably weighted towards u.s. devotees, though there is certainly a uk contingent.

indiepop-list@eskimo.com is currently owned and maintained by Jeff Barrus and Tina Henry-Barrus, who are recent converts to Everything2 under the pseudonyms Scoresby and Pantaliamon respectively.

Current subscribership hovers in the range of 700 - 750. Most of its participants hail from North America, Western Europe, and Asia with large contingents from the U.S., the U.K., and the Philippines.

Heated debates over trivial topics are frequent. You may lose an eye.
