Kar Kulture is making a small resurgence among young people. At any no-entry-fee car show, young people can be seen living the hotrod/rockabilly lifestyle at its purest, picking up a beat-up, broken-down car for a few bucks, and fixing it up as funds become available. This differs from street rod culture in the amount of money spent. These modern greasers are attracted to a more aggressive sound, but one that stays true to its roots. The Amazing Crowns are the best example of the new sound of hot rod culture.
