(jocular) The teeth and other mouthparts of homo sapiens. Frequently used in conversations regarding food or eating, as in "Get yer laughing tackle around this..." Heard in the Midlands and North of the UK predominantly, along with "gob" and possibly, "cake hole".

Related to other uses of the word 'tackle', describing various parts of the human anatomy, notably wedding tackle.
