You're a friend when we're in need.
You ask for naught but interest seed.
Our gratitude unending --
Until our payment pending.
Excuses you will not abide
You have armed force on your side.
We dare not tarry long in debt,
Else injury to us you should beget.
Extensions do not please you, sir.
And mercy shown not to the cur
That misplaces his cheque.
