A beverage sold in a hostess bar that customers are requested to buy for the women who work there. The drink is usually either water, ginger ale, Sprite, or similar nonalcoholic liquid. The cost in the Wan Chai district of Hong Kong is typically around US$30.

Buying one of these drinks is followed by prominent displays of gratitude and affection from the workers, usually in the form of tonsil hockey. More drinks entitle the purchaser to more forms of affection. That's what my friends tell me, anyway.
