Being
pregnant with more than one
child at once, though usually
applied only to
humans. Most commonly seen as
twins, though sometimes as
triplets.
Due the usage of fertility medication, they've been occuring in much higher numbers now. Quintuplets are barely noteworthy now, and 6, 7, or 8 occurs infrequently.
Selective reduction is used by some in these cases.
