National is another name of the mega-corporation otherwise known as Panasonic. This department of Panasonic makes air conditioners, and other such appliances.

National is only in Japan, and when it sells to other countries the products name changes to Panasonic. Maybe thats why its called National.

National was a chain of grocery stores in St. Louis and the surrounding areas. Unfortunently, they never really did well, were dirty, and went out of business twice. The first time they were bought by the employees, after which it survived roughly 18 months.

The chain no longer exists.
