A type of
tongue piercing where two
barbells are placed on either side of the tongue closer to the
back of the throat. Since they are placed on the sides they look like a snake bite. A lot of people either get a third one in the middle of the tongue, and have a
triangle shape formed by three barbells.
However, a true Snake Bite will be as close to the side of the tongue as possible, and parallel to each other. A very sexy piercing, but hurts like a bitch because the sides of the tongue have a lot more nerve endings when the middle.
