A pair of photographs taken from slightly different angles, designed to be viewed through a mechanism that delivers one image to the left eye and one image to the right. Accomplishes a 3-d effect. The parallax can be varied when taking the picture to make large things look small (I call it the dollhouse effect) or to make small things look large. Allows you to use your depth perception to examine a captured image. An alternate to stereography is to create an anaglyph.
