Digital Sundial (science trivia thing)

A digital sundial uses the position of the sun to determine approximate time.

The accuracy is similar to a regular sundial, but remarkably transforms the angle of the sun's light into an array of digits.

Imagine seeing time, created by the sun's light; a display of digits, showing hours and minutes; a curious combination of something old and something new; a somewhat accurate digital clock.

There are some digital sundials here, along with information about the origins of the device.
