A noisome condition that usually results from the accidental ingestion of the flesh of
nymphs,
leprechauns,
tengus, or the
Wizard of Yendor. Symptoms include
spontaneous and
erratic teleportation to
random locations,
frustration, and in severe cases
suicidal tendencies.
Teleportitis is incurable, but can be turned to one's advantage by obtaining and wearing a ring of teleport control. The only other known remedy for teleportitis is to engage gremlins in combat at night and count on the fact that if one is hit by a gremlin, there is a 10% chance that you will lose a random intrinsic (good luck).
