Gods among men and led by the mysterious "Clarker", the drumline of the 1993 and final DCI edition of Star Of Indiana were, quite possibly, the best marching percussion section to ever grace us mortals here on earth. In a land full of "How many beats can fit into one measure?" these gentlemen and ladies gave a masterful, wonderously musical performance of Bartok's "Music for Strings, Percussion, Celeste" night after night after night.

For you drummers out there, not only were they always clean, but the entire show's dynamic level didn't get above mf until the last 60 bars of the show.

Mmmm. Gooder than anything. And a credit to orchestration and tasteful percussion performance.
