On the Commodore 64/Amiga demo scene, a trackmo (TRACKloading deMO) was a demo than ran by loading track after track from the disk rather than reading via the file system.

The guys from Future Crew misunderstood the term when they called their PC demo "Panic" a trackmo. Their interpretation of the term isn't clear either -- some say it's a demo whose effects smoothly change into other effects, while others say it's a demo whose visual effects are synchronized with the music. In short, don't use the term in the PC sense to avoid confusion and long flame wars.
