A late-night television show on Much Music USA. It showcases popular and upcoming heavy metal (hence the name) and death metal bands. Besides playing videos the show boasts a sexy goth chick host named Julia, who interviews famous rockers with her hand-held camcorder.

The show usually features standard heavy metal fare such as Disturbed,Cradle of Filth, Lamb of God, Mudvayne, and any other head-banging satanists that happen to be poplular at the time.

Over the last two years or so that the show has been on Julia has interviewed: Glenn Danzig, Soulfly, Metallica, System of a Down, Anthrax, and Black Label Society.

This season a spin-off show called Uranium Classics has come out, which is dedicated to playing nothing but the good old-school metal like Ozzy, Slayer, and Judas Priest.
