Okay, so I was riding the bus this morning on the way to work, and there was a conversation going on between a man and a woman, both in their forties I'd estimate. Well anyways, I only picked up some of what was being said, but he had an incessant habit of telling her how he was a spiritual person and how he loved god and how she seems like a spiritual woman. She just kept acknowledging everything he was saying.

Then he asked her something else that I couldn't hear, to which she kinda giggled a little and said, "No, no. I can't do that. My husband wouldn't like it." And he said, "Well that's fine, I respect your decision and all. I just wanted you to know that it would be great if you could share that with me." And she laughed again and said, "No...I gotta be single for that." And he went around and around with his life story, sprinkled with god-talk throughout, before getting to his stop. And asking her again "You sure you dont...?" And she grinned and just said, "No."

After he left, I had to lean over and ask if he was doing what I thought he was doing. And well, he was. Only in Memphis, I guess.
