Also known as a 180 f/s kickflip, the varial flip is an intermediate skateboarding trick for today's street skaters.

To perform a varial flip:

  1. Move your front foot into kickflip position, but about 2-3 inches more towards the toe side.
  2. Put your back foot into pop shove-it position.
  3. Pop, and do the motions for a kickflip and a pop shove-it simultaneously.
  4. Suck up those feet, and try to stay over the board.
  5. Catch it, and roll away with style.
