vasoconstrictive is an adjective used primarily in medical jargin meaning "causing constriction or dilation of blood vessels" (American Heritage College Dictionary). The only context in which I have ever heard this word used is in reference to cocaine.

The most common use of vasoconstrictors is in over the counter - use eye drops, Usually the active ingredient is "Tetrahydrazoline" (think "gets the red out").

Using vasoconstrictives to solve eye irritation is probably a bad idea. Eyes usually become red as a response, where the body is dilating the blood vessels in order to increase blood flow to remove the irritation. As such, these eye medications form a useful cosmetic palliative, but have little positive effect on the underlying problem.
