This is how the character Owl in A. A. Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh stories spells his name. He is considered to be Wise, at least by the other inhabitants of the Hundred Acre Wood. This reputation stems largely from his spelling skills, which in addition to this rendering of his name include the ability to spell Tuesday well enough so you can tell it isn't Wednesday.
