A
program at schools that allows students to watch the
democratic process in action. The
local government will bring in polling machines and you and your classmates will go down to them (my high school,
RHS, took us during history classes) and do your thing. It works exactly like a real
election, minus the
electoral college and the
CNN coverage of course, and
hopefully get us to appreciate our right to
periodic non-violent overthrow of leaders.
